Rameez Sayyed, MD, is a highly experienced cardiologist at Commonwealth Vein Center in Colonial Heights, Richmond, and McLean, Virginia. 

Dr. Sayyed completed his Doctor of Medicine at Rawalpindi Medical University in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. He then relocated to the United States to continue his medical education and training.

After completing his transitional internship at St. Agnes Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland, Dr. Sayyed went to Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine in Huntington, Virginia, for his internal medicine residency. 

Dr. Sayyed then completed a fellowship at the University of Connecticut in Mansfield, Connecticut. 

Dr. Sayyed is a member of the American College of Cardiology and the Society of Cardiac Angiography and Interventions. He’s board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) with subspecialty certification in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology. 

He’s also certified in nuclear cardiology. 

Dedicated to his profession, Dr. Sayyed writes articles and research papers for publication in peer-reviewed journals.
